LeVar Norsworthy  is the CEO of Masscomm a non-profit philanthropy organization.  The young  CEO prides himself on  his involvement in the local community. He is always planning ahead and looking into new fun and exciting ways to put energy and resources back into the community.  For the 2009 Christmas holiday Norsworthy has made himself available, yet again.  “[Volunteering] It’s something that I am passionate about and something that is interesting to me.  I think people wanna give back a lot of the time, they just don’t know how,” says Norsworthy.
Norsworthy was elated  that he could help with getting gifts for the family of Ashley “AJ” Jewell, who passed away in early October.  A close friend informed him that the family was excepting gifts for the children, and  provided him with the family’s contact information.  “I was aware of the situation, however it didn’t really sink in that these are real kids, who had a real dad.  Now Christmas is here and we don’t necessarily know the financial situation” states Norsworthy.  He is currently working along with the children’s aunt and was elated to step in to make sure that this Christmas runs smoothly.  Christian Johnsonalt
