Lloyd Banks, along with three of his associates, Nicklas Sloane, Shawn McGee and Tyrell Cooper, has been held by Canadian police on allegations of forceful confinement, aggravated assault and robbery.
The “If You So Gangsta” rapper reportedly got into a dispute with a local promoter over payment for a performance that took place last Friday, night, Jan. 9 at Club NV in Brantford, ON, Canada. Authorities of the Waterloo Regional Police’s Criminal Investigations branch say that Banks and his three cohorts allegedly held the promoter in his hotel room, against his will, assaulted and robbed him.

The four remained in custody and made a video court appearance on Sunday afternoon. They are due to appear in court again early this week.
