Tiger
Woods is making headlines again, but this time on a positive note.
Woods is donating $3 million to help with aid in Haiti, according to US
Magazine.
Hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons commented on Woods’ contribution saying, “I
heard Tiger Woods is donating to send a cargo plane with a mobile
hospital out there.”
Known for his contributions in the community, Simmons used Twitter to address the urgent need for assistance in Haiti.
The
catastrophic earthquake left thousands dead, the capital city of
Port-au-Prince in ruins, and citizens homeless and in dire need of food,
water and medicine.
In
light of Woods’ recent scandal, his actions are noble and a good
example for other celebrities to follow. The four-time PGA champion is on
the right track to getting back in the public’s good graces. –christian johnson
