Tiger Woods Donates $3 Million to Help Haiti

The world’s No. 1 golfer is making headlines again, but this time on a
positive note. Tiger Woods is donating $3 million to help with aid in Haiti, according to US Magazine.
Hip-hop’s godfather Russell Simmons commented on Tigers contribution saying “I heard Tiger Woods is donating to send a cargo plane with a mobile hospital out there.”  Simmons who is very active in the community used twitter to address the urgent need for assistance in Haiti.
The catastrophic earthquakes (according to a recent CNN report) has
left  hundreds of thousand dead, Port-au-Prince the capital city in ruins; citizens homeless and in dire need of food, water and medicine.
In light of Woods’ recent scandal, his action are noble and a good example for other celebs to follow. The 71 time PGA champion is on the right track to be back in
the public’s good graces.alt
