Madame Tussauds’ has unveiled, at a museum in London, a wax figure of Michelle Obama standing next to her husband, President Barack Obama, in the Oval Office. The unveiling marks the first anniversary of the president’s inauguration.
The wax figure of Michelle is wearing a sleeveless red dress and black sweater, a popular look for the first lady.
Spokeswoman Liz Edwards says the figure of the U.S. president has been extremely well-received and she expects the figure of the first lady to be a crowd pleaser as well.
The figure of Michelle Obama will be on display until mid-April when it will be moved to its permanent base at the Madame Tussauds museum in Bangkok, Thailand. –gerald radford
