Venus Williams is tanning the hides of her opponents down in Melbourne at this year’s Australian Open. She’s handily beaten contenders Lucie Safarova and Sybil Bammer to advance to the event’s third round and looks poised to meet her younger sister in the semis, if all continues to go well for Serena.
She’s considered one of the senior players on the WTA tour, but she feel she has plenty of tennis left in her. “I love playing. I want to win each tournament I play. I want to win the majors, play doubles and be in the Olympics,” she said recently.
But, while she’s tanning hides, she’s also showing her own. The outfit she’s chosen to wear for the grand slam tournament — one from her own EleVen collection — is showing a good bit of skin. At times, it appears as if she’s not wearing any undies at all and she has slits in it that lead right up to the goodies.
The sisters have been known for their shocking on-court fashion over the years, and the legacy continues. –gerald radford
