Khloe Kardashian Meets President Obama at White House; Kobe Bryant’s Wife Also There

This could only happen in America. A few years ago, before a single sex tape made stars out of two individuals with serious talent deficiencies, the Kardashian clan was about as relevant as a Hawaiian weatherman at the North Pole.

Fast-forward a couple of years after the sex tape inexplicably and miraculously sent Ray J’s and Kim Kardashian’s careers soaring into orbit …

Today, the sister of the participant in that infamous sex tape, Khloe Kardashian-Odom, is sitting on the front row in the White House’s East Room shaking hands with the leader of the free world. And she didn’t even have to … uh … work for her fame. Is this a great country, or what?

Continuing on her upward trajectory of fame and fantasy-life, Khloe accompanied her husband Lamar Odom and the rest of the Los Angeles Lakers to the White House. The Lakers were being congratulated for winning the 2009 National Basketball Association title.

Khloe glowed on her Twitter account, posting that shaking hands and sharing a laugh with President Obama was part of “such an amazing day! I just met Obama with my husband! :)” When she first entered the East Room, the towering “Dash” sister took a seat in the middle of the room before being told to take her place on the front row.

Fresh off his first NBA title and whirlwind romance with Khloe, Omar nearly levitated off the ground when he got to chop it up with the commander in chief: “About to meet PRESIDENT OBAMA! This is unreal,” he wrote on his Twitter account.

The much more private Vanessa Bryant, wife of superstar, Kobe, was the first individual the president interacted with when he stepped off the stage and shook hands with people on the front row. She did, however, snap pictures of members of the Obama administration from her front row seat.
