Native Chicagoan, Majic Massey expressed a burning passion and a relentless drive to sing since he was 4-years-old and singing in his church’s choir.
In pursuit of his dream, Majic moved to Atlanta and linked up with powerhouse DeVyne Stephens of UpFront Megatainment. The crooner appropriately compares his sound to that of Curtis Mayfield and Marvin Gaye. His new album Love DNA is set to be released in late fall, and will feature production by hit makers Scott Storch and Swizz Beatz.
The multifaceted artist is also a songwriter and his most recent single “I Want Her” features rapper Twista. Music lovers around the country will enjoy what Majic — who declares he is “bring[ing] pure soul R&B back to entertainment” — has to offer. –christian johnson
