It’s our responsibility as adults and role models to help them discover their dreams. The reason we need to do that now, while their young, is because dreams change, and goals change, so we have to help guide them.
What do you say to people who have discouraging detractors in their lives?
There’s one thing you do, and that is move away. It’s not that hard. We make it difficult because we make excuses. Move away from them. You don’t have to take them out of your life but if they’re distracting you from the purpose you were put here for, then don’t spend too much time around them.
Why is it important to have a support system?
It makes all the difference in the world. It could be the difference between a child passing or failing, and not just grade wise — but life wise.
