Michael Jackson’s Son’s Help Leads to the Arrest of Dr. Murray; Prince Will Testify at Trial

Michael Jackson’s Son’s Help Leads to the Arrest of Dr. Murray; Prince Will Testify at TrialMichael Jackson’s eldest surviving son, Prince, provided key testimony to police authorities that led to the arrest and indictment of Dr. Conrad Murray, according to media reports.

Unlike Jackson’s siblings and parents, who were often cordoned off from the life of the famously reclusive superstar, the King of Pop’s children were often present when their father received treatment from his personal doctor.

“Prince is the only person, aside from the doctor, who saw what really happened — and he says he thinks that the doctor did something wrong, that he killed his dad,” authorities, speaking on the condition anonymity, revealed to media sources.

Prince and his siblings often witnessed disturbing events unfold when Murray would administer powerful sedatives to Jackson, a famous insomniac.

The investigation into the death of the music icon had stalled months after the funeral despite constant pleas for Murray’s arrest by Jackson’s family members. That’s when, according to investigators, 13-year-old Prince made a plea plus provided additional eyewitness testimony that pushed the investigation over the threshold for arrest.

“Prince says he saw blood on his father’s clothes, and there were times the doctor would not let him and the other kids in the bedroom to see their dad,” he says. “The police were giving an update to some members of the Jackson family. When it appeared they could not offer a date when Dr. Murray would be arrested, Prince, who’d been listening outside the room, entered. He surprised detectives with an emotional statement. Prince told them “not to give up” and said their father had told him and his sister Paris many times that “anything is possible if you want it hard enough and you work hard enough.”

Mutliple media outlets said Prince is set to testify in the involuntary manslaughter trial against Murray. The Texas-based doctor is the object of universal ostracism and condemnation because he’s seen as being at least a partial culprit in MJ’s premature death on June 25, 2009, at age 50. –terry shropshire
