After a nearly 10-year absence from the music scene, R&B singer Keke Wyatt has returned with her sophomore album, Who Knew? Wyatt’s vocals remain unchanged; they’re still sweet and syrupy and give her album a gentle finish. While the lyrics have a storyteller’s appeal that charmingly lends itself to her ‘round the way girl persona, the overall production is lacking in complexity and originality. It’s a solid effort of standard R&B sounds that take you through her life but never quite take you to the moon. Hopefully, if she continues to hone her skills, she’ll not only give us R&B standards but R&B classics. –nicholas robinson
