Lil Wayne Threatens to Leave Twitter After Lil Duval Mocks His Philosophical Tweets

alt

Lil Wayne discovered that Twitter can be as unforgiving as a group of middle school students when it comes to teasing. Several days after opening a Twitter account, Lil Wayne threatened to stop tweeting once he became the brunt of an unflattering trending topic.

#LilWayneDeepTweets quickly became a trending topic after comedian Lil Duval joked about how he found it hard to understand Lil Wayne’s tweets, which are as ambiguous as most of his rhymes. “We go, but where?” Lil Wayne wrote. “We are what we bring bak, if we return …”

Lil Duval mocked Lil Wayne by tweeting, “When winter is over … it warms up.” Thousands followed Lil Duval’s lead by posting their own tweets that imitated Lil Wayne’s misunderstood philosophy.

Apparently a bit disheartened by the jokes, Lil Wayne told his followers that he would stop tweeting due to the negative feedback that he was receiving. “Gunna stop eight the tweets now that i see they’re so unliked. It’s a mirror of my thoughts, and obviously my thoughts aren’t [welcome]. Sorry.”

However, Weezy continued to tweet just one day later. Pushing forth with his one-of-a-kind ideology, he wrote, “Love is a circle … Stay in it or around it … Just don’t end up out of shape.” –a.r.
