“When I first got signed I performed at the 2007 Ozone Awards with ‘Crank Dat,’ and my pants fell down in front of my favorite rapper at the time, Lil’ Boosie.”
Estelle:
“I had a red carpet one time and I had a dress tailored but it was too short. It hit that awkward, embarrassing part on my leg. I saw the pictures and was pissed off. It was horrible.”
Kardinal Offishall:
“It’s this yellow terry cloth suit I had made early in my career. It had me looking like Big Bird.”
What is your fashion must-have?
Nicki Minaj:
“Mac pink lipstick and Mac pink blush.”
Kardinal Offishall:
“It depends on the country I’m in, but the best thing is to have tailored clothes as much as possible.”
Rocsi:
“Fly boots or shoes. I’m a shoe whore.”

“My Gucci shades which I don’t have on now.”

“Shiny liquid lacquer leggings. They can go with the flow. I am over it.”

“The low crotch pants. They are coming back with a vengeance for men but we should leave that to MC Hammer.”

“Obviously parachute pants, right? I think the straight tank tops for guys too.”

“Headbands. I hate to see people with those basketball headbands and du-rags in public—ban those forever.”
