Hip Hop duo Kidz In The Hall have returned for another semester of beats, rhymes and life. These apt pupils have been soaking up the world around them in their off time. Pulling inspiration from pop culture, the glamour of the music scene and their own life lessons, Kidz In The Hall have crafted an album full of reflective lyrics that examine what it’s like to be both a rapper and young man with dreams of success. The beats on the Land of Make Believe album are full of unexpected twists and turns that keep the ears peaked while the duo trades verses with a style reminiscent to that of their hip-hop brethren, OutKast. While these two have yet to master hip-hop’s curriculum in the way that their southern counterparts have their skill and potential could still land them at the top of their class. –nicholas robinson
