Who is Chrisette Michele?
I love to express myself and experience the tough side of situations; then I explain what I’ve learned through happy songs like ‘Be OK’ because I love to encourage myself and encourage others. I’m a person that knows how to look at the bright side.
Other than singing, what other ventures would you like to pursue?
I would open up a boutique. I find that many boutiques that I enjoy range in sizes from 0-6, so they lack plus sizes. I want a boutique that is fashionable but caters to sizes larger than 10, I want to see clothes that I can fit.
What is your advice for getting over a relationship?
The main thing that helps to get over a relationship is knowing God has a particular time for everything that he puts in your life. When you know that everything happens in the season, then you don’t have to worry about what has happened, what’s happening now, or what’s going to happen. When you put [it] into perspective that you don’t need to be stuck in the past or stuck on the future, you’ll find yourself appreciating what you have right now.
