One of the many children James Brown fathered, LaRhonda, is claiming that her father’s body has disappeared. The Godfather of Soul, who died in 2006 reportedly of a heart attack, was put in a temporary crypt at daughter Deanna’s home while his permanent resting place was being built. Now, LaRhonda tells the Mirror that Brown’s body has been moved to an undisclosed location to keep her from really finding out how he died.
A DNA test determined LaRhonda’s kinship to Brown and she wants to get a final report on his cause of death. She believes her father was killed by people trying to get to his money, and she wants an autopsy done.
“At the very least there were enablers who helped cause his death,” she says, citing his addiction to illegal drugs and prescription painkillers. “There were reports he may even have been beaten up before he died.”
Maybe LaRhonda and LaToya Jackson should form a support group for suspicious celebrity relatives. –gerald radford
