Are Jamie Foxx and Howard Stern Warring Over ‘Precious’ Star Gabourey Sidibe?

Two of the biggest radio personalities on Sirius Satellite radio are entangled in a war of words. Days after Howard Stern berated Precious star Gabourey Sidibe for being overweight and suggesting that she will never work in Hollywood again, Jamie Foxx and his crew of comedians on “The Foxxhole” radio show took up for Sidibe by scolding Howard Stern and his co-host Robin Quivers.

“You [Howard Stern] can’t comment on Hollywood, because you don’t know what it’s like,” Foxx said. “There are several people who used to be hot who are not working. It doesn’t matter if you are fat, skinny or small. Wesley Snipes used to be hot, but he has a hard time [finding work]. We all have a hard time because it’s a recession and they don’t do as many movies as they used to. No one has a pass in Hollywood. I still have to hunt for parts. There are a lot of people who have won Oscars and didn’t work for years.”

Foxx’s co-hosts were also hard on Robin Quivers. They told listeners that she was molested by her father and called her a “house n—a” because she was afraid to stand up to Stern.

But Stern countered by challenging Foxx to say those comments to his face.

“I know weird [stuff] about Jamie,” Stern said on his show Monday. “You guys started up with me and I’m going to comment. Their show is not popular and Jamie is not a friend of mine anymore. I have a s—load off stuff on Jamie. Come in here and tell me like a real man if you have a problem with me.” –a.r.
