The move was in response to comments Diddy made recently at a party he threw at New York hotspot, Greenhouse, regarding the Georgi brand, along with all others that aren’t Ciroc. In an effort to set his Ciroc brand above his competitors, Diddy proclaimed, “If you’re not drinking Ciroc, you’re drinking pee pee,” said the mogul, who owns 50 percent of Ciroc.
Silver was offended by the comment and held a press conference right under the Sean John billboard in Times Square demanding an apology. “It is not right what he did,” he said, accusing Combs of “maligning our product, something that my family has worked on hard for over 30 years.”
His followed that up with the toilet scheme, which backfired when security guards at Combs’ office wouldn’t let Silver and his assistant into the building with the toilet.
“Will P. Diddy talk to us to rectify the situation?” Silver asked the security guards, who shut him down before he could get even a toe in the door.
The near miss ended with Silver leaving the premises toilet in tow. Someone from the building threw a roll of toilet paper out a window at him.
