Monica continues to build momentum for her storied return to the R&B scene. She recently wrapped a successful reality show, released a new album — Still Standing — to rave reviews and great first week sales, and now she’s launching a tour with Trey Songz.
Monica announced the joint tour, which doesn’t officially start until August, on Atlanta’s Fox 5 news. The two singers, who maintain strongholds on the R&B charts, are doing spot dates to test the waters until the official launch. They’re making stops in S.C. to start.
Former Warner executive Kevin Lyles produced Monica’s reality show and manages Trey Songz.
