New Sought After Ingredient: ‘Freshly Ground Black People’

Pasta Bible cookbookA cannibalistic white supremacist has released a new cookbook, which includes a recipe that calls for “freshly ground black people.”

Just kidding on the white cannibal part, but there is a cookbook on some store shelves  — and possibly already in homes  — which contains a recipe that mistakenly calls for “freshly ground black people” in the place of “freshly ground black pepper” as an ingredient. Its author says it’s a case of auto-correct gone awry.

Some 7,000 copies of the Australian cookbook are being reprinted, but those already on the shelves will not be recalled. Penguin Group Australia publishing company’s spokesman Bob Sessions, said he found the misprint “quite forgivable” because “proofreading a cookbook is extremely difficult.”

He went on to say that if “anyone is small-minded enough to complain about this very silly mistake, then we will happily replace the book.” The inflammatory ingredient was called for in a Pasta Bible recipe for tagliatelle with sardines and prosciutto.
