Rashidah Ali and Dia Simms, the lovely proprietors of Bourgeoisie Shoetique in New York, are lending their fashion sense to Atlanta, where they recently launched B Chic Shoetique. “B Chic will be geared towards young women who have mastered the high-low buying technique, concentrating more on style and design without overindulging,” says Rashidah Ali.
The boutique, known for its high-end foot fashion, has been frequented by celebrity clientele such as Alicia Keys, Kim Kardashian and even Diddy. To celebrate the occasion, a private viewing was held at the Atlanta’s Ritz Carlton-Buckhead. The soirée was hosted by supermodel Jessica White of Maybelline, Victoria’s Secret and Sports Illustrated fame.
The grand opening attracted notable Atlantans, including the self-proclaimed King of the South, T.I, who stopped in to pick up a gift for his wifey, Tiny. B Chic is definitely a destination for every lady with a shoe fetish. Ro caught up with a few fashionistas and asked them about their shoe secrets. –christian johnson

For boots, I’ve paid around $400. It’s not too bad for boots.

Carlos Santana. I really enjoy his music and what I like about him is that he uses his music to design his shoe collection; if you love his music, then you know that his shoe collection is crazy.

The most I’ve spent on a pair of shoes is $200 on a pair of brown ankle-high Timberlands. It was the first time I ever spent that much of my hard-earned money.

The most I have ever spent on shoes was about $200, which is not bad for a college student. One day I would like to own a pair with red [soles].
