Former Rep. Tom Tancredo Hopes to Banish Barack Obama ‘Back to Africa’

Barack ObamaFormer Congressman Tom Tancredo, R-Colo., is at it again. He added to his ever-growing list of infamous antics this past weekend. The latest of his insolent comments were made at a Tea Party gathering in Greenville, S.C., where he told tea partiers they should send President Barack Obama “back to Kenya.”

He went on to remark that,  “If his wife says Kenya is his homeland, why don’t we just send him back?”

The White House chose not to comment on Tancredo’s remarks Monday, but when asked today about the situtation, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs responded, “I could probably fill the better part of my afternoons responding to the general lunacy of somebody like Tom Tancredo.”  Sometimes it’s good not to oil the squeaky wheel, I guess.

Keep in mind this is the same ludicrous man that suggested a civic literacy test be given to voters shortly after Obama’s election. His reasoning behind the absurd request was that Obama was elected by “people who could not even spell the word ‘vote,’ or say it in English.” The thought has broadly been regarded as one of the most unconstitutional ideas of recent memory.

Keep revealing your divisive thoughts, Tancredo, so you can ultimately be dismissed as a racist loon. –ramone mackTom Tancredo
