A 14-year-old girl claims that she experienced two weeks of rape and torture after being kidnapped by two men in Brooklyn. Anthony King and Kevin Evans, both 24, have been arrested in connection with the crime and face up to 25 years in prison if convicted.
Reportedly, Evans picked up the 14-year-old girl and her friend on April 27 and drove them to New Jersey where they used heroin. Once they returned to New York, Evans dropped off the victim’s friend and took the victim to a home where he handcuffed her to a chair in the basement.
Evans, who was later joined by King, raped and drugged the victim for two weeks straight. The victim also said the two poured boiling water on her and she was finally able to escape from the home on May 11.
Police have described the victim as a known prostitute and drug user. Evans and King’s families maintain that the two men are innocent. “Kevin said they were charging him [with] rape,” Nina Evans, Kevin’s sister says. “They said he scalded her with hot water. There is no water in our house. My brother doesn’t do heroin and he don’t have no needles.” –a.r.
