President Obama and Oprah Only Rich and Powerful Because They're Black, Says Rush Limbaugh

The current climate on the conservative talk show airwaves these days doesn’t require you to present facts anymore, or even make rational statements for that matter. Whatever decrepit thought that crawls into their craniums gets ejected through their mouths without a pause to the collateral damage it causes, nor the ramification of their ignorant blubbering.

Rush Limbaugh laughably and pathetically dismissed President Barack Obama and Oprah Winfrey’s hard work and historic successes as a byproduct of being African American.

No, people, he was serious. I missed the memo where being black was an advantage in America.

But on his daily diatribe and unpatriotic vitriol against the Office of the Presidency, Winfrey accidently got struck by flying shrapnel that came flying out of the wide hole in Limbaugh’s craggy face. This is what he recently told an audience to explain Obama and Oprah’s position in life:

If Obama weren’t black he’d be a tour guide in Honolulu or he’d be teaching Saul Alinsky constitutional law, or lecturing on it in Chicago. He wouldn’t have been voted president if he weren’t black. … Somebody asked me over the weekend, ‘Why does [a certain] somebody earn a lot of money, [and] have a lot of money.’ I said its because [s]he’s black … It was Oprah. No it can’t be? Yes it is, there’s a lot of guilt out there, to show we’re not racist we’ll make this person wealthy and big and famous and so forth.”

Incredible. Obama’s success, from Limbaugh’s mangled and misguided mind, was not the result of him being a two-time Ivy League graduate, or that he was so smart that he was elected the first African American editor to the Harvard Law Review, or that he made the right connections in life, or that he is a brilliant orator, or a sage political strategist. –terry shropshire
