While the paparazzi have been in a frenzy following Chelsea (Clinton) Mezvinskly around Rhinebeck, N.Y., the former UN Ambassador and Atlanta Mayor Andrew Young went south to officiate the wedding ceremony for Clifford “T.I.” Harris and the former Tameka “Tiny” Cottle on Saturday, July 31. They exchanged nuptials at an exclusive estate 45 minutes outside of Miami.
The pair had a double wedding of sorts. TI and Tiny had a civil ceremony at a Miami courthouse on Friday, July 30, and held their wedding the next day. It was a small ceremony with a guest list of about 400, who were treated to performances by El DeBarge and Jamie Foxx.
Best friend and former Xscape bandmate Kandi Burruss, reality TV star Antonia “Toya” Carter and Grammy-winning singer Monica were in Tiny’s bridal party. Atlanta radio personality Ryan Cameron tells the AJC.com, “We were about an hour from Miami. The place looked like a castle.”
After the ceremony, the couple arrived to the wedding reception in a horse-drawn “Cinderella carriage” as fireworks exploded overhead, Cameron said. “They looked really happy,” he told the AJC. “It was beautiful to see.”
Mr. and Mrs. Clifford “T.I.” Harris are planning to honeymoon in Las Vegas. –yvette caslin
