Twitter Shows Glenn Beck Supports White Nationalism

Twitter Shows Glenn Beck Supports White NationalismConservative radio and television talk-show host Glenn Beck is no stranger to controversy. Recently, he decided to hold a march in Washington, D.C., on the same day that in 1963 Martin Luther King Jr. held his historic March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom.

Beck also said that the real motive behind President Obama’s health care reform efforts was to obtain “reparations.”

Last year on  “Fox and Friends,” Beck basically stated on his television and radio shows that President Obama was racist and suggested that the president had a “deep-seated hatred for white people, or the white culture.”  The fall out from that statement cost Beck when advertisers Procter and Gamble, Lawyers.com and Progressive Insurance pulled their commercials from his weekly commentary show on Fox.

Although his constant name-calling suggests otherwise, Beck incessantly propounds that he is not a racist nor does he harbor any racist beliefs. If this is accurate, then why did Mr. Beck recently delete the tweets he deemed significant on his favorites page on Twitter?

A recent snapshot of his twitter favorites page may give some insight into the commentator’s personal views, especially as it regards “white culture.” The screen shot seen in the attached picture reads “Embrace White Culture” from the operator of a white nationalist message board called White Nationalist News And Forum.

The sender of the saved message @MalevoFreedom, describes that he is located in “White  America.” I do not know if Mr. Beck has racist leanings, but on the surface it sure can be inferred via his invocation, comments, messages and topics that he continuously selects to discuss. –torrance stephens, ph.d.
