With the reopening of the Glambar, business maven Sabrina Peterson has built a bigger and better doll house for girlie-girls to play in. It’s tripled in size and resembles a Hollywood dressing room, with wallpapered images of beauty icons sprinkled throughout the salon, including Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, Diana Ross, Dorothy Dandridge. A plethora of strategically stationed mirrors reminds patrons of their own natural beauty.

In addition to the hair, makeup and nail se
rvices, patrons can enjoy skin care, spa pedicures, Swedish waxing, a bubbly lounge, a cupcake and candy bar, dryer menus to rent iPods, a glamorously stocked BEAUTique, glam-god reading library, the wall of 1,000 [nail] polishes, and high definition theater for clients to view their favorite ‘chick flick.’

weekend of Bronner Brothers International hair show, ladies were treated to a by appointment only VIP experience that included a daylong beauty suite and “Pink after Dark” that night. Evening events were sponsored by X-Rated Fusion Liquor and Tree of Life Pomegranate Wine. Customers departed with a portrait of themselves and a swag bag of products from Dr. Miracle’s.
Proceeds from the event benefitted the Breast Cancer Network of Strength organization, which was on-site promoting breast self-examinations. –yvette caslin
