We’ve decided to take a quick break from the celebrity rumor mill by highlighting five of the classiest and fashionably savviest politician’s wives. These glamorous wives can stand up to any of TV’s housewives on any given day and exceed them in terms of class, education, social standing and fashion. While many of these women here are no stranger to the spotlight, they don’t always receive national recognition — not that it really matters to them. I’m just saying. They’re living proof that black women are more than just video vixens, reality TV star-seekers, bitter and scorned entertainer wives, gold diggers, false representatives (wear fake lashes and weave) and angry.
