Rapper 50 Cent recently weighed in on a criminal matter involving boxer Floyd Mayweather. On Sept. 9, police arrived at Mayweather’s home in Las Vegas to respond to a domestic dispute. A neighbor reported hearing screams at Mayweather’s residence.
The mother of Mayweather’s child, Josie Harris, told police that she was attacked by him and checked into Southern Hills Hospital in Las Vegas. Harris also told authorities that she will seek a restraining order on Mayweather.
But 50 Cent did his best Perry Mason impression by defending Mayweather through Twitter. “Another case of angry baby mama wanting money. Police are looking for Mayweather. I just got off the phone with him. He wasn’t even upset. He said he asked her why was the house so dirty [and] she started tripping.”
Fifty also wrote, “She’s claiming he hit her but has no bruises … if a fighter of Floyd[‘s] caliber hits you, you would be bruised.”
Fifty seems to have a lot of time on his hands as of late. Earlier this week, he put himself in the middle of a Twitter beef between Fabolous and Soulja Boy. Fifty even threatened to kill Fabolous if he retaliated against Soulja Boy.
