He’d never openly admit it, but it appears that the musical career of rapper 50 Cent is all but over. I mean think about it; for all of the verbal sparring that he engages in with other artists, he hasn’t released a relevant record since G.W. Bush was in office.
But those musical shortcomings aside, the New York-born rapper is still determined to earn your respect — only this time, it’s on the big screen. He latest film Twelve, finds him delving into the familiar world of drugs. Although it shouldn’t be an acting stretch for a man who prides himself on promoting his drug-infested upbringing, the film still provides him a cinematic medium to prove he has the chops to do something other than rap.
