Lisa Wu Hartwell and newest edition to “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Cynthia Bailey, teamed up with Carol’s Daughter and hundreds of aspiring curly haired beauties, for the “Lucky Curl” model search. This day of free makeovers, an in-store photo shoot and exclusive giveaways took place at the Carol’s Daughter flagship store in Lenox Square Mall, in Atlanta. The ultimate ending to the day was to be selected Ms. Lucky Curl and become the new face of Hair Milk.
“Hair Milk was one of Lisa’s first products that she made over 13 years ago, and … it’s our number one product,” stated Lauren B. Branche, media and consumer relations manager for Carol’s Daughter.
The area in front of the Carol’s Daughter store was mobbed with shoppers. While there were a number of women who showed up for the Lucky Curl model search, there were also many fans of BRAVO’s hit television show “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” who came out to see their favorite stars.
“I grew up with Carol’s Daughter products. … I’m amazed at the evolution of Carol’s Daughter from where it started, to where it is now,” said Cynthia Bailey, newest member of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast.
The Hair Milk line includes four products: Curl Perfecting Shampoo, Curl Perfecting Conditioner, Curl Booster and Curl Definer. “The Hair Milk collection helps to boost curls, define curls, reduce the frizz, add volume and give you shine. Hair Milk is the curl perfecter,” declared the company’s Southeast regional manager, Rosa Perez. –al weems
