Randy Moss Scores a Touchdown in Return to the Vikings; Says Tom Brady Looks Like a Girl

On the first play of Randy Moss’ debut with the Minnesota Vikings, the team ran a double reverse to Moss who ended up throwing a 10-yard pass to quarterback Brett Favre. Although the play was negated by a penalty, it was a subtle warning to NFL fans to expect the unexpected when it comes to the Moss-Favre era.

But the much-anticipated matchup between the Minnesota Vikings and the New York Jets turned out to be a continuation of Favre’s sporadic play. Favre threw for three touchdowns but also fumbled twice and threw an interception that was returned for a touchdown with less than two minutes to play.

The highlight of the game came in the third quarter when Moss caught a 37-yard touchdown pass from Favre, which turned out to be the quarterback’s 500th career touchdown pass. But the Jets trounced the Vikings 29-20.

Moss was traded to the Vikings last week by the New England Patriots, who were apparently upset with the wide receiver’s chose to voice his thoughts on the team’s refusal to sign him to a contract extension.

According to reports, Moss and Brady argued in the locker room after Brady suggested that Moss shave his beard. Moss fired back by telling Brady to cut his hair because he looked like a girl.

However, the two may have gotten over their disagreement. After Monday’s game, Moss looked into television cameras and said, “Tom, I know you’re watching, buddy. I appreciate that text. Sorry we didn’t bring it [a Super Bowl title] home buddy.” –a.r.
