Are you Chambord chic? There are quite a few ladies who attended Maine Street Salon’s Girl’s Day Out who can claim that honor. Sips & Styles, rolling out and Chambord’s signature tasting event for the Chambord raspberry flavored vodka, kicked off in St. Louis on Saturday, October 16 at the upscale salon, which is located at 2527 S. Jefferson Avenue.

Salon owner Terrance Booker hosted the glamorous, invitation-only soiree for the chicest women in the “Lou.” Guests were pampered, primped, silked and curled. It was an afternoon filled with beauty and flavor as the ladies sipped signature Chambord cocktails Fleur de Lis and the Parisian Cosmopolitan. Both were mixed with pink-hued Chambord raspberry flavored vodka – a French vodka distilled with the signature black raspberry flavor infused right into the spirit.

The ladies exhaled in pure ecstasy and simply couldn’t get enough of the couture and flavorful cocktails, the impromptu spoken-word performance by Xplicit tha Poet and jazz artist Crystal Haywood’s video stream of her singles “Round and Round” and “So Right.”

Guests also clamored for recipe books featuring Chambord-inspired creations like Chambord French Toast, Chambord Shrimp and the drinks of the hour as well as other gifts.

The day party was an instant hit and the ladies didn’t hesitate to become Facebook fans by signing up at chambordonline.com. –yvette caslin
