This past weekend R&B singer Monica snapped a picture of a new jewel she’s sporting on her ring finger. Rumors have spread that Monica and her LA Lakers ball player boyfriend Shannon Brown are engaged. Brown and Monica both hit it off after the filming of her video “Love All Over Me.” Monica and Brown made it official a couple months ago and now according to reps are engaged. Don’t you think it’s a little too soon after the tragic suicide of Jarvis Weems for Monica to be sporting a rock on her finger already?
Kanye West To Premiere Short Film in the States Next Week
Everyone around the country has gotten a chance to see Kanye’s new short film titled Runaway … except for us Americans. But now it is finally our turn to take a look at this new masterpiece. Kanye will display his new short film next Saturday at 8 p.m. EST on MTV, BET, and MTV2 along with MTV.com, BET.com, and VH1.com.
On another note, Kanye’s cover for his new album has been banned from the United States. Retailers are claiming that it is not appropriate. Ye tweeted “In all honesty … I really don’t be thinking about Wal-Mart when I make my music or album covers #Kanyeshrug!” he wrote. “I wanna sell albums, but not at the expense of my true creativity.” My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy will be in stores on Nov. 22.
Willow Smith Debuts New Video
Willow Smith, daughter of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, has already made a name in the music game. After releasing her first single, “Whip My Hair,” people have been anxiously waiting to see a video. Although little Smith is only 9 years old, she has been able to have every person in the club or in their car blasting and dancing to her new single.
Willow’s new video has actually hit the Internet earlier than expected. Willow will appear on BET’s “106 & Park” on Tuesday, Oct. 19 to debut her new video, even though it has already hit the web. Of course, rolling out has the first look at the official video. Willow definitely shows through this video that she is indeed a new star.

Did Justin Bieber Really Assault a 12-Year-Old Boy?
People are already trying to find some reason to hinder Justin Bieber’s fame. According to TMZ, A 12-year-old boy claims that Bieber hit him while playing a game. A rep from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police tells TMZ that the young boy’s father reported the incident to authorities. Although, the rep would not confirm anything, they did say that they are in the process of interviewing witnesses. The popular Canadian blog ZackTaylor.ca says they spoke to a staffer at the facility who says that during the game, Bieber was cornered by several kids “and accidentally hit the kid while running away.” TMZ spoke to Bieber’s rep yesterday who is claiming that this story is untrue. –brittany johnson
