If you’ve ever dreamed of becoming an actor, but don’t know where to start, then allow us to introduce you to sisters Lisa and Laura Bunbury, co-owners of Actors Info Booth Inc., a professional resource for actors that offers current industry news, auditions, workshops and information on how to get started in the business.
“Our goal is to be the number one resource for actors in the community,” the founders of AIB agree. “We work hard to be a safe, honest resource where anyone that is interested in the business can get real, legit information to make educated decisions about how to pursue a career in acting.”
Their free and progressive Web site, actorsinfobooth.com, “is seen in over 50 countries and we get a minimum of 100,000 hits per month. We connect with thousands of people internationally through networking portals like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and even MySpace. We recognized several years ago that marketing our resources through these avenues is been a tremendous way to expand our presence beyond South Florida,” they reveal in unison.

The AIB ladies have had many successes and vaunt that they’ve had the pleasure of working with some “really wonderful people.” Most recently, they did a master class with Emmy Award-winning director Mary Lou Belli, who directed “Girlfriends” for seven seasons as well as episodes of “The Game” and “Monk.”
Their clients, who range from age 8 to 87, have transitioned to larger markets like New York and Los Angeles and are booked as guest stars on popular shows like “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Criminal Minds” and “Cold Case.”
“We have actors that come back to us with such lovely stories [of] how AIB changed their [lives] and helped them do it the right way — those conversations make it all worth it,” they offer.
AIB has started developing projects to showcase Miami, including a one-hour teen drama, a sitcom, and at the time of this interview, they were in the first phase of shooting a couple of short films as well.
The south Florida-based siblings have an interesting dynamic and a harmonious relationship. Lisa, the elder sister, likes to be in front of the camera while Laura remains behind the scenes making creative decisions.
