American Family Insurance and ‘Rolling Out’ Present ‘Portraits of Family’

alt

Rolling out recently partnered with American Family Insurance to produce the first annual Portraits of Family reception in Atlanta. Several families and institutions that have been philanthropic leaders were honored during the private affair.

Marvon Williams and Ricky Gilley IV of American Family Insurance presented awards to the honorees, which included: Steve Ewing (owner, Wade Ford); Ryan Stewart (“2 Live Stews,” radio show and Stewart Education Foundation); Roberta Shields (President, The Ludacris Foundation); David Manuel (author, I Am a Father); and American Family featured honorees, The Carter Family.

At the conclusion of the event, Ewing offered remarks about the importance of giving back to the community and passing those values down to his children. “It’s important for my family to give back to the community because we are blessed beyond belief,” Ewing said. “God continues to bless us. If you are going to continue to expect blessings, you have to give blessings. I’m fortunate to have a great family to lift me up.

“My wife and I want to continue to shape our kids by teaching them to give back to the community. Our children have been in places where they have fed other kids who don’t have a bed to sleep in. They realize how fortunate we are and the importance of remaining grounded. We are excited that we were recognized by American Family Insurance and rolling out.” –a.r.
