The trendsetters and tastemakers in attendance at the 2010 Winter Ball definitely understand the power of style. Atlanta’s power generation looked ravishing as they enjoyed a brisk Saturday evening with the lovely ladies of the Collective Renaissance Guild, Grammy Award-winning artist Toni Braxton and Martin Luther King III, among others, on Dec. 4, 2010, at the Delta Air Heritage Museum.
CRG, in partnership with Ford Motor Company and Perennial Entertainment and Sports, presented the CRG Phoenix Award to Toni Braxton for her community service with Autism Speaks and the American Heart Association, and Martin Luther King III for his global humanitarian efforts and work as president of the King Center. Both honorees were also recognized for their resilience and ability to thrive in challenging times.
The event was hosted by the fabulous Nina Brown and BeehiveFm.com’s dashing Taiye Samuel. Guests were treated to artistic performances by Buenos Aires Tango Academy of Atlanta, complimentary cocktails sponsored by Belvedere Intense, complimentary hors d’oeuvres provided by chef Linda Alaydi, music by super producer Bryan-Michael Cox and DJ E-Clazz and a heartfelt keynote address from Chaka Zulu, CEO of DTP Records.
