Bradley McCombs, 17, was killed on Christmas after losing his life in a fatal SUV crash. McCombs family held a viewing of his body on Monday in northeast Pittsburgh to pay their final respects.
Friends and family members placed memorable items such as a handheld video game in McCombs casket. But as McCombs family and friends grieved over his body, Jody Lynn Bennett took advantage of the situation by disrespecting the deceased and his family.
Bennett, 37, stole the items that were placed in McCombs casket and took the video game system.
Bennett was arrested on charges of theft and abuse of a corpse. His mother claims that the man battles with drug problems. –a.r.
