Nothing exemplifies winter like a walk in downtown Chicago in the middle of January. On a snowy Friday evening, ro ventured to the Bucktown area of Chicago and experienced a uniquely sexy event, “Le Chique Clique” at the Between Lounge.
The pulsating sounds of classic house music reverberated from the entrance of the club, shaking the ground like a 7.0 magnitude earthquake. A diverse crowd was there to experience the best mix of visual art, body painting, handmade jewelry, and awesome beats and live performances by Russoul.
Chicago native and contemporary artist Daria Amerik, and local recording artist Russoul conceived this outstanding concept.
“Russoul and I were disappointed in the lack of sophistication that is currently dominating the art and recording industries. Rather than giving up, we chose to merge our talents to show power players that there is still a demand for sophisticated art and music,” explains Americk.
