Aspiring reality show personality and shoe boutique owner Rashida Ali, who’s appeared on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” is in serious legal trouble after literally digging her claws into a bouncer last month during a nightclub brawl and leaving the man with a face full of stitches.
According to NYDailyNews.com, the bouncer, Joseph Wright, who suffered a severed nerve and artery, and had to undergo surgery and receive 50 stitches, is now suing Ali for $10 million and has filed a complaint against Ali with the police.
“We think Ali should be on ‘The Real Housewives of Rikers Island,’” said Wright’s lawyer, Paul Edelstein, who filed the lawsuit in Manhattan Supreme Court.
The fight, which occurred Jan. 26 at an upscale SoHo nightclub, began after Wright confronted two of Ali’s friends for sexually harassing a bottle waitress.
As Wright attempted to drag the two irate partygoers out of the club, Ali allegedly ran up to Wright and began clawing him in the face.
“She’s clawing over my eye, at my face, and I didn’t feel anything at first,” explained Wright. “… Then I realized I felt the blood dripping down my shirt. I was leaking.”
Ali and her friends immediately fled the scene, leaving Wright to wait for paramedics to treat his gruesome wounds.
Fans of “RHOA” may remember Ali from this past season’s premiere episode when catty stars NeNe Leakes and Dwight Eubanks got into a verbal altercation at her B Chic Shoetique trunk show at the Loews Hotel in Atlanta.
If Ali doesn’t learn to control her temper, she’ll make it into the reality TV game all right — on shows like “Cops” or “Beyond Scared Straight.” –nicholas robinson
