Legendary Houston rapper Brad “Scarface” Jordan has been locked away in jail since Oct. 13, 2010, on four counts of unpaid child support across multiple states as well as an unknown federal charge.
According to XXLMag.com, the rapper, who is being held in Montgomery County jail in Conroe, Texas, owes child support to women in Harris County, Montgomery County and Fort Bend County, Texas, as well as to a woman in Missouri.
That’s a lot of money and, apparently, a lot of mouths to feed.
Jordan originally rose to fame in the ’90s as one-third of the hip-hop group, The Geto Boys, alongside Willie D and Bushwick Bill. He also made his mark as a solo artist, creating hits with the likes of the late great Tupac Shakur.
Jordan also had an influential hand in guiding the career of Atlanta rapper Ludacris in the early 2000s when he was the president of Def Jam South.
Jordan is being held without bail, and it’s uncertain when a hearing will be scheduled or if Jordan will be released from jail anytime soon.
