On Why He Wrote Super Rich:

“I feel that a lot of people are entitled instead of empowered. When I first started writing, I thought the book would be for people in prison and standing on corners. But as I travel, I realized that this book is for people in the business community and in churches. We all suffer from the same problems in our search for inner peace.”

On Becoming Spiritually Rich:

“This book is not The Secret, it’s the core of the secret. When you work at something, payment is a by-product. The relationship with God is first. The first chapter is redefining rich. Super rich is the state of needing nothing. That’s a state and idea presented by Yoga, the Christians call it Christ Consciousness, and the Muslims call it Taqwa. I wanted to tell the truth. As a servant, your work becomes prayer.”

On Learning Patience:

“All of my businesses have taken a long time to turn a profit. It has always taken longer than my business plan. It was on God’s time, but It takes resilience. Hard work, dedication, resilience and faith. With enough faith, you can perform miracles.”

On Why He Became a Vegan:

“I want to cause the least amount of harm as possible. I think eating animals is one of the most harmful things you can do.”

On Rappers:

“Rappers share what the masses think. They look inside and tell you a truth when it’s honest. I think it’s wonderful that the people who were voiceless are now able to influence the world.”
