Formerly known as the Coca-Cola Refreshing Filmmaker’s Award, the program is designed to engage youth with challenging opportunities to leverage their talents, spark fresh thinking and realize their potential for greatness behind the camera and beyond.

“It’s been an amazing experience. We visited a comic book store, which was a first for me; we had a lot of fun,” said Jordan when ro caught up with her during taping in Chicago.

On Valentine’s Day, the pop sweetheart broke a record Down Under. She earned the title of Most Heard song on Australian radio with her positive and youthful single “Happiness,” which was produced by Stargate. Her eponymous album is due in stores this spring.

Here’s what Jordan wanted to share with fans.

Who she admires: Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder

What image means: It means a lot. I want to work at this for a long time. I tried to keep it as clean as possible.

Feelings on self-respect: It means a great deal. My mom taught me that you have to admire yourself. I feel it is something that every girl should be empowered to have. Keep it classy.

Twitter and Facebook etiquette: You are responsible for what you say on the Internet especially if you are trying to have a career because it can interfere with your work.

Longtime friends: I don’t have the same friends because I have moved around due to my career, which is fine with me because I have my family 24/7.

Being the oldest child: It’s a big responsibility. I am setting the bar really high for my younger brothers and sister.

In the film, Jordan plays a character named Swift Justice. It premieres on spriterefreshing films.com, and you can cast your vote for your favorite film from April 1 through May 2.  –yvette caslin
