If you’re a nostalgic hip-hopper, then you’ll have to hold on to your memories of Junior M.A.F.I.A., as that may be the only way you’ll ever see the group together again. Lil Kim, who actually broke into the industry with this crew, apparently has no desire to reunite with her rap cohorts.
When asked about a possible reunion by MTV’s Sway, the diminutive firecracker wasted no words: “No. Next question.”
The beef between the parties reached a climax in 2006 when Kim sued former group member Lil Cease for $6 million over a Junior M.A.F.I.A. DVD. But creative and monetary beefs aside, Kim didn’t even seem open to a reunion on a personal level.
“At this point, I would say never,” Kim began. “Only God directs my life, so I can’t say if I would ever speak to him in the future. But at this point, no. I have not seen a single change and then I’ve seen a bunch of talk and a bunch of contradictions, so no.” —djr
