Last week, while visiting CBS’s daytime talk show “The Talk” to promote her appearance on the new season of “Celebrity Apprentice,” NeNe Leakes continued to bash her fellow castmate Star Jones, calling her a backstabber and “a witch…with a ‘b’ in front.”
The bashing began when Leakes was asked to explain her beef with Jones, to which the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star replied frankly, “Star’s not nice. I believe … that anybody who has ever worked with her would side with me. She’s not a nice person. She’s a witch…with a ‘b’ in front.”
Continuing her explanation, Leakes reveals that she initially tried to befriend Jones, going to lunch and dinner and even double dating with her but, as Leakes tells it, Jones quickly went from nice to untrustworthy.
“I walked in the situation with no preconceived notions. You know, I wanted to get to know her for whoever she was,” said Leakes. “Later on I realized that she was just being backstabbing and I called her on it only because I’m loyal, and she is not.”
Leakes asserts that although Jones and other castmates were deceptively “playing the game,” she remained honest and fair.
“You know, we’re playing a game and people are forming alliances, they’re being strategic … I don’t cheat, I don’t backstab. I don’t do any of that,” explained Leakes.
