’70s-Inspired Hairstyles for Spring

'70s-Inspired Hairstyles for Spring

A beauty manager at Nordstrom told me that, this spring and summer, you will see fun ’70s-style hair everywhere. And on the catwalks, there will be deep side parts.

Volumizing spray or mousse is added to the hair before the deep part is made. Next, it is finished with glaze or gloss to give smoothness and extreme shine. After the part is created, the hair can be worn down or in a ponytail or chic ballerina bun.

For root to tip shine, reach for the Fekkai Brilliant Glossing collection to get these runway looks. I am already loving the Farrah Fawcett hairstyles that I am seeing on lots of women. Check out some of the styles that were seen on the runway shows from Narcisco Rodriguez, Giambattista Valli, Gianfranco Ferrè and Oscar de la Renta Spring 2011 Ready-to-Wear (RTW). –tami reed
