Recently, Disney-Pixar’s Cars 2 displayed star racecar Lightning McQueen, lovable Mater the Tow Truck and master British spy Finn McMissile in Alpharetta, Ga., while on their multi-city tour. Presented by State Farm for their “Agents on a Mission” tour, the exhibit will run until June in cities throughout North America and will be available at the red-carpet world premier of the film in Los Angeles on Saturday, June 18. The tour of the models then will continue, ending with stops in San Francisco and Sonoma, Calif.
Fans of all ages got a chance to check out the cars, take photos, play various video games and win cool prizes. Cars 2 is about Lightning McQueen (Owen Wilson) and Mater (Larry the Cable Guy) going on new and exciting adventures. They head overseas to compete in the first-ever World Grand Prix. Only thing is the road to the championship is filled with surprises along the way! There is some international espionage, and Mater has to make some important decisions . Cars 2 will speed into theaters on June 24. I can’t wait to take my son to see this movie because he loves Cars! –tammie reed
