A deafening “Joyful Noise” was heard at Houston’s Regal Grand Palace as the Higher Dimension Church, led by Pastor Terrance Johnson, filled the movie auditorium with their Sunday-best singing before the movie screening began.
Renowned gospel artist Kurt Carr also hosted the screening and shared the importance of supporting both the film and soundtrack of Joyful Noise. “It’s important to tell people, encourage people to go … the first weekend in a movie is very crucial … one thing we know about church people is that word of mouth works … support, support, support!”
