Common and Ice Cube
Back in the ’90s, Ice Cube proved that a conscious emcee could go toe-to-toe with a gangsta emcee when and Ice Cube found themselves in a major hip-hop feud. The beef began after Ice Cube took offense to Com’s “I Used To Love H.E.R.” and took aim at Common on the Westside Connection diss track “Westside Slaughterhouse.” Common fired back at Cube with the legendary diss track, “B—ch In Yoo,” and found himself the victor in their feud. Things almost turned violent between the two, before they squashed their beef, thanks to some mediation from Minister Louis Farrakhan, and are now on friendlier terms.
