5. Michael Hutchence, INXS, 1960-1997
In a harrowing, painful suicide, Hutchence kneeled on the floor, tied a belt around his neck, affixed it to the door, and leaned forward until the belt strangled the life out of him. An associate found him dead in the kneeling position. The coroner’s report states: “An analysis report of the deceased’s blood indicates the presence of alcohol, cocaine, Prozac and other prescription drugs.”
