The 2012  Proud Lady Beauty Show will offer some new and exciting activities and events at the Tinley Park Convention Center. For the first time the show will include a hair and fashion extravaganza.

Val Warner, co-host of “Windy City Live,” ABC 7 Chicago’s new morning talk and entertainment show, will make a guest appearance and greet attendees during the Proud Lady Hair Show. Geri Duncan Jones, executive director of American Health and Beauty Aids Institute stated, “Val Warner is such a positive role model and exemplifies the beauty and sophistication of the Proud Lady symbol.”

They are proud to present “The Best of the Best” Ripping the Runway, which will feature award winning stylists Kevin Carter, owner of Artistry hair salon in Detroit; top stylist Kenyell Hall of Phase II Salon in Indianapolis and International Elite stylist Montgomery Martha, owner of Marquin Salon in Chicago.

A panel of distinguished and diverse barbers will share vital information on the current state of the industry, keys for excellence and professionalism, and how barbers can unite to help shape the future of the vocation. The panel will be coordinated by Master Barber Dawn Tatum, along with other invited panel members, Derek E. Davis, Craig Damon, Debbie Davis Joe Flano, John Mosley and James Wealthy.
